The enormous work carried out in the vines during this quite difficult vintage resulted especially in an improved quality in the grapes coming from young vines. It is always these vines that are the most punished during adverse weather conditions.
The 1992 Pavillon Rouge is fairly light, but well balanced, fresh and very pleasant. It has now fully mature with a bouquet of great finesse. it is a nice surprise in such a difficult vintage.
To be enjoyed now.

Climate
After a very dry winter, the weather was wet during the flowering, which was long and uneven. The summer was hot, but August was particularly rainy, which affected the health of the vines more than usual. Fine weather never really settled in after that. (The picking began on 29th September)
