On Thursday, 7 November, Corinne Mentzelopoulos, owner and CEO of the Château Margaux estate, and the Friends of Notre-Dame de Paris Foundation hosted an exceptional dinner in New York City.
Château Margaux was happy to take part in the event and support the foundation to help fundraise for the restoration of the famous Notre-Dame de Paris cathedral, which was severely damaged in a fire that took place on 15 April 2019.
Dating back to the 12th century and visited by over 13 million people every year, this iconic monument and symbol of France’s cultural and spiritual heritage now requires significant renovations.
During the dinner, over one hundred major American donors and collectors were able to taste our wines, including the Pavillon Blanc du Château Margaux 2017, Château Margaux 2003, Château Margaux 1996, Château Margaux 1990, and Château Margaux 1982.
