We finished picking the white grapes on Monday afternoon, after having taken a 3 day break which allowed our later plots to ripen perfectly.
The quantity of grapes picked is less than in the past years, but maybe this low yield, as well as the heat of these last few weeks, contributed to the quick and optimal ripening of our sauvignon blanc.
We are impatiently waiting for the end of the fermentation in order to be able to taste the first wines in a couple weeks and get a sense of the quality of this new vintage!
