Following the success of the darker coloured Château Margaux 2015 bottle and in the interest of standardisation, all the Estate’s bottles from now on will be made with a darker coloured glass.
The labels for all the wines will also have a new typeface, inspired by the one used by the Estate in 1865.
The bottles are also finished with new colours. The capsules on Grand Vin bottles will be made with a dark brown matte material, like that used for Château Margaux 2015.
The colours used for the print are changing too ; a bright light red for Pavillon Rouge and a purer blue for Pavillon Blanc. These colours harmonise with the new capsules and from now on the bottles will be embellished with just two gold logos.
Lastly, a new material will be used for the Grand Vin cases. They will now be made with radiata pine and the top of the 6-bottle case will bear the Château Margaux logo, the same as on the front of the Pavillon Rouge and Pavillon Blanc cases.
